Romans 1:3 Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, ...

4 ... declared to be the Son of God ... by the resurrection from the dead:

Compared to:

Colossians 1:15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

Jesus is the First born of 'every creature' which could be translated as 'all creation'. And as the First born He created all things (this world).

Just as we read:

Hebrews 1:2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, ...by whom (the Son) also he made the worlds;

According to this verse the Son made the worlds. Which fits with Colossians 1's statement that Jesus was the First born (obviously to be a First born male one must be a Son) that created all things.

Colossians chapter one goes on to say:

Colossians 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

The First born is defined by God in this verse as being the "First born from the dead". This agrees with Romans 1:3,4, that it is through death and resurrection that Christ was declared to be the Son of God.

Also,

Revelation 1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, ...

Once again Christ is said to be the first born of the dead. He was the first to die and rise again. Therefore He became the First born Son of God. Only, He was already known as the First born Son BEFORE this world began. The Bible says that as the First born He created all things (Colossians 1:14,15).

Even in Revelation 1:5 we have a tie in to Christ the First born from the dead as the Creator.

Revelation 1:5 says that Jesus is the "Faithful Witness, and the First begotten of the dead". A little further in the book of Revelation we also read of the Jesus as the Faithful Witness:

Revelation 3:14b "...These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;"

Revelation 1:5 links the name of Faithful Witness to Christ as First born of the dead. And

Revelation 3:14 connects the 'Faithful Witness' to the "beginning of the creation of God."

Just as Colossians 1:15 told us that Jesus was the First born of all creation. And Colossians 1:18 said He is the beginning, the First born from the dead.

It's all becoming very clear and obvious.
