The Unsaved People of the World Have Always Been the Worst & Cruelest Judges of Others

#217 The Unsaved People of the World ...

The long standing charge against God's elect (due to their relationship with the Word of God the Bible) was that we were judgmental of others. Of course this was never actually true. At least when it came to God's elect, the truth was that the unsaved people of the world simply felt 'judged' by the presence of a Christian carrying his Bible. The light emanating forth from the Scriptures was causing them to feel guilty as their sinful darkness was enlightened somewhat leading them to cry out, "you're judging me!" Yes, the Bible itself was judging them but not the elect child of God.

Now isn't it a curious thing that those who have historically been quick to point the finger at God's people and exclaim "you're judging me"—all the while acting as though judgment of others was the farthest thing from their minds and the last thing they would ever engage in—(after all they were not those judgmental Christians)—are themselves the most ferocious judges of others in this time of the world's final judgment.

If you tweeted something embarrassing long ago—or happened to say a misplaced word to a co-worker—or expressed an unapproved sentiment during a moment of openness—that's all it takes and the world pounces. Many vicious labels are applied. Jobs are lost. Reputations are ruined. Careers are finished. The person who transgressed the world's new morality laws is shamed as a wrongdoer and sentenced, as it were, to die by public humiliation.

The truth is that the unsaved people of the world have always been the worst and cruelest judges of others. On the other hand, God's elect people learned forgiveness by Christ's example and learned NOT to judge their fellow man.

The world has rejected the good and just laws of God found in the Bible. They say, "Don't put those strict judgmental laws upon us. We want our freedom from such tyranny." The Lord has basically said, "OK. You want freedom from My laws. Go ahead and try it." And so the world has developed its new system of moral laws made totally apart from the Bible, and is now actively enforcing them. Notice the harshness of their judgments upon their fellow man. Notice the lack of justice as their laws are applied in an uneven manner. Notice the total lack of love as they enforce their new morality. Notice that accusers one day are the condemned the next day.

Notice the complete absence of mercy or goodness as these new moral laws expose the 'sins' of their fellow man and delight appears to be taken in their discovery of it.

Oh, foolish man. Just a creature, yet always wanting to be something more. To be the Creator. In actuality, only a tiny little finite being, yet always thinking he is something much greater—always thinking he's actually a law maker and a judge. Oh, foolish man, you’re ignorant of the fact that God is the only Good and Right Law Maker and Judge. Of course, such foolish fallen creatures are in no way qualified to judge their fellow man.

James 4:11 Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.

12 There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
