Some Try to Shift the Focus of the Scriptures to the Church (where they are not) and Away from the World (where they are)

#229 Some Try to Shift the Focus ...

If you listen to some so called true believers, they're quick to see God's judgment on the church in every verse. And it is true God has judged the churches. But even in numerous Scriptures where the focus is on God judging the world, they still see those verses as also judgments on the churches. Everything is always the churches, the churches.

What about the world's guilt and its judgment? If you listen to them, you would think God has forgotten about the world and focuses only on the corporate church.

No, He hasn't forgotten the world at all. The Lord is actively judging the world at this time. But some refuse to acknowledge even the possibility of such a thing taking place. They protect the world. They try to shift the focus of the Scriptures to the church (where they are not), and away from the world (where they are). We have to wonder have they forgotten God's warning about loving this world?

1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
