Ishmael – A Great Nation

#168 Ishmael – A Great Nation

Ever since Mr. Camping came out with the information that God was planning on saving many of the sons of Ishmael, I understood it based on statements made in Genesis 17 and in Isaiah chapter 60, that it was correct. But after going through Genesis 21 I now see tremendous confirmation of that truth. There's no question whatsoever, that included in that great multitude of people saved outside of the churches during the 2nd part of the greet tribulation period were scores of millions of the sons of Ishmael. God made of him a great nation:

Genesis 21:17 And God heard the voice of the lad; and the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her, What aileth thee, Hagar? fear not; for God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is.

18 Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him in thine hand; for I will make him a great nation.

In the Bible, when God says He will make 'of' someone a great nation it means only one thing---which is that He will bless their descendants and make them citizens of His heavenly kingdom.

God told ABRAHAM (elect) He would make him a great nation.

Genesis 18:18 Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?

God also told JACOB (elect) that He would make him a great nation.

Genesis 46:3 And he said, I am God, the God of thy father: fear not to go down into Egypt; for I will there make of thee a great nation:

God told MOSES (elect) that He would destroy rebellious Israel and make of him a great nation.

Exodus 32:10 Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation.

God does NOT tell the unsaved that He will make of them a great nation. We might read that Babylon was a mighty nation or a fierce nation. But not a great nation in the sense that God has told His servants Abraham, Jacob, Moses, and Ishmael.

Of course Ishmael was never saved himself. But in telling him that He would make of him a great nation God is clearly indicating that many of Ishmael's descendants would become saved.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
