Sometimes it’s good to go through these things just as a reminder to ourselves.

Luke 21:34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.

The Greek word translated as "unawares" is also found in:

1 Thessalonians 5:2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

The word "sudden" in verse 3 is the identical Greek word translated as "unawares" in Luke 21:34. And unawares is the better translation of this world. Literally it should read:

"For when they shall say, peace and safety; then UNAWARES destruction cometh upon them..."

How odd to be destroyed and yet be unaware of it. How could that be?

The answer is that Christ came spiritually and stole away all your blessings as He judged the whole world on May 21, 2011, and all the days since.
