Psalm 9:17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.

The Bible teaches that hell is the grave. When will the wicked be turned into the grave? And when will all the nations that forget God be turned into the grave?

Overall, most churches have correctly taught that when a man died his eternal fate was sealed at the point of his death. If he died a righteous man (saved) then he would be righteous still even after death. And if he died a filthy man (unsaved) he would remain filthy still even after death.

Practically all reformed theologians realized that physical death sealed a man's eternal fate regarding his soul condition. This meant that a man who died saved would remain saved; and a man who died unsaved would remain unsaved. Neither condition could be changed. Death established and fixed their spiritual condition.

On the date of May 21, 2011, once God rose up and shut the door of heaven--that action sealed the eternal fate of all mankind. Thereafter, the righteous would remain righteous, and the filthy would remain filthy.

Revelation 22:11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

At the commencement of Judgment Day, God brought the world into the identical situation that had only previously existed when people had physically died. Effectively, God brought death to the world. He brought the condition of the grave (hell) to the world. He turned the wicked into hell. This is why Revelation Chapter 9 describes the smoke of the pit (hell) rising up and darkening the air and sun. That is, the condition of hell below rose up and came to the earth above:

Revelation 9:2 And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.

Since the Lord left His chosen people on the earth to go through the Day of Judgment, He has in essence left them on the earth that has entered into the condition of hell--amazingly, this properly positions the elect children of God for a like resurrection as the Lord Jesus Christ experienced (as

Jesus resurrected out of hell).

Philippians 3:10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

By leaving His people in the world, God has basically conformed them to the death (hell) of Christ – in order that they rise up out of hell on the last day, thus attaining to a like resurrection of Christ.
